The purpose.
The aim of the BG Coffee Guide is to be your resource in finding great coffee in Bulgaria. Regardless of whether you are local or a guest visiting the country, I want to have a great coffee experience. It is my way to give back to the amazing community.
The quest.
Coffee shops always remind me of my favorite part of any open-world role-playing game - the moment when you get to a new city and enter its tavern.
A magical place where time seems to stand still. But they are so much more than this. They are the places we nowadays work from, where we meet with friends, make new ones, and where we participate as part of the broader community.
Great community and great coffee. The BG Coffee Guide aims to embody all of that.
The project is just starting out but I am making plans and dreaming big for its future. I am hoping it will become an integral part of the coffee community and culture in Bulgaria.

As a full-time employee at a Customer Experience team for a major company in the HR industry you can often find me working from a coffee shop.
The BG Coffee Guide is a passion project born out of my love for coffee and the people involved.
My journey into the world of coffee began almost 7 year ago when I attended a home-barista course. I was so fascinated by what I tasted in the cup, that I bought my first pour over - the mighty Chemex, right then and there. It’s been a love story ever since.
I am curious about coffee, so I stay up to date, and educated on the latest news and trends.
(I am not at all that serious in person, promise 😁)
