Urban Embassy is a fairly new café in Sofia and their entire concept is Zero Waste.

The take-away cups are not cups at all, for example. Instead, you get a small and cute looking glass bottle that you can then return and get your deposit back.

Another cool and very innovative feature that they have is the fact that they are making their own plant-based milks. So, if you’re looking for a great pistachio latte - you have found the right place.

Personally, I am not a big fan of plant-based milks, just not my cup of coffee (?!) but what I love to order here is their syphon filter or cold-brew in the summer months.

The beans on offer come from the Netherlands roasters Rum Baba and occasionally you can taste some rare-finds like Peaberry.

Next to the café is another space that doubles as an extension of the café and a co-working place.
